WordCamp Milwaukee is Coming

WordCamp Milwaukee is back for it’s third year! WordCamp Milwaukee is July 25-27, 2014!

We are excited for a biggest and best WordCamp Milwaukee yet! This year we will be coming from a brand new venue in the middle of downtown Milwaukee surrounded by restaurants, hotels, shopping, and tons of fun. We are happy to be partnering with the UW-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education and using their facility on the top floors of the Grand Avenue Mall. We hope you like our new website! As you can see, this year we are bringing out the best of the dairy state with our theme and promotions. A huge thanks goes out to Lisa Dodd of Tuna Traffic for the beautiful design and Dustin Filippini of 10up for developing it into the WordCamp site.

Stay tuned! We will be opening speaker applications later today and opening ticket sales very soon. We look forward to seeing everyone again for WordCamp Milwaukee. Please let us know any ideas or feedback you have for us on our contact page.

Welcome to WordCamp Milwaukee

WordCamp Milwaukee now has a date and a venue!

Date: July 25-27 2014
Venue: University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Continuing Education at the Grand Avenue Mall

We are still in planning, but are fervently working on things. We expect to be getting info out very shortly. Here are our target dates for some big things.

  • March 15 – Website Design and Logo complete and info will start appearing on the site
  • March 15 – Call for Sponsors opens with a sponsor request form on the site
  • April 1 – Call for Speakers begins with a form on the site
  • April 1 – Ticket Sales Open
  • June 1 – Begin Announcing Speakers

We hope we can hold to these dates and are looking forward to an amazing WordCamp Milwaukee 2014!
