More information including lodging, parking, and venue specifics are found below.

Plenty of parking will be available in the Grand Avenue Mall Parking Structure. We have worked with the venue to provide $6 parking all day for all WordCamp Milwaukee attendees in the Grand Avenue Mall Parking Structure. This structure is located on Plankinton and Michigan. When entering the structure, get a regular parking ticket. Bring the ticket with you to WordCamp so we can validate for the reduced parking fare. There are also various other parking structures nearby and metered street parking. It is recommended to use the mall parking structure.

Milwaukee’s downtown has plenty of beautiful hotels to select from. Unfortunately, we were not able to work out a special event rate at a nearby hotel.

Below is a list of nearby hotels, all within walking distance of the venue and many are connected by the Skywalk. Courtyard, Residence Inn, and Hampton Inn & Suites are closest to the venue. If you are looking for a more boutique lodging, check out the Pfister or the Iron Horse Hotel.

If you are traveling from out of town, Milwaukee is served by General Mitchell International Airport. The airport is about 7.5 miles from downtown Milwaukee. Information about transportation from the airport can be found here.

Milwaukee is also served by the Amtrak Hiawatha Line which has stops both at the airport and in downtown Milwaukee, only blocks from the venue. This is a great option for those traveling from Chicago or other Amtrak stops and now includes WiFi!
